Take a look at what happens when the pattern occurs while the RSI floats above 70 and does not go below about 60... in other words, the entire "signal" takes place above 70.

I noticed this recently...after trying to figure out what was 'wrong' for about two years, and I believe that if the signal performs in this fashion it is actually a confirmation of the up trend!

I'm still working on it, but it looks to me like if one were to recognize a 'double hump' that takes place mostly above the target line (or below it in the case of a buy signal) that it is not a reversal signal at all!
