Jim, brokerages expected the volatility and reduced margin limits two weeks ago. I understand that additional margin limits are being added for next week on an individual brokerage by brokerage basis. What the Ameritrade stats indicate to me is that there is still not enough fear in the market. Partially responsible for the lack of fear is Mr. Greenspan as the wild card. Traders have observed that Greenie is not worried enough to throw the market a lifeline, and therefore conclude that if Greenie is not worried, why should they be worried. Sergio
