rrman, >>Up to their ears in risky mortgage backeds and quite subject to derivative explosions.

It has been interesting lately that my brokerage houses have been sending me the prospectus on all their MM funds. I suspect that they are covering their butts. I recently have moved most of my "cash" into US government MM's until we get through this rubber band that exists in the credit markets. I have a yellow strip going down my back. <ggg>

This particular fund is all short term gov't paper. Full faith and credit of the US gov't. Hmm, maybe I should be worried. -g- Oh well, it's the least risky choice of the 5 IMO.
