Thanks for the book recommendations, Auric.

And thanks for the tip about spreads. I was doing some shorting today, but backed off from one candidate when I learned that there was a full three-point spread! Not that I know what it signifies -- but it just struck me as bizarre. And when I don't understand something, I always back off. The better part of valor, and all that.
