The culmination of our strategy is in days like these...we have been long the high quality "inftrastructure" tech companies that are printing money and short the dog meat 2nd tier cash burning B to C "dot.com" stocks...yes we took some heat on the "dot.com" stocks with NAZ at 5000 although even then many were headed down well before then...but they saved our butt..although not completely, last week..we covered all the shorts finishing Friday and are ready to plow all of that $$$ into the blue chip techs tomorrow..that is the strategy... sell the crap when it floats to high and buy quality when buried too deep..I'll bet every guy with a margin call in his portfolio sells the dog meat to meet the call and keeps the good stuff..the good stuff will rise again, the crap will have to wait for the next cycle..on and on it goes.

Ladies and Gentlemen... I just assembled the family for a significant event. I wrote the IRS a six figure check minutes ago. Wife still can't believe it. Heck, I can't believe it. The kids, well, I am going to talk to them about capitalism and the evils of Big Government while flapping this darn check in the air. Such success last year as represented by that check, yet such irony in the face of the market today, and considering how my net worth got its teeth kicked in this past week..... Mercy..... Rick
