Things temporarily stabilized in HK , after fall, some "bargain hunting" apparent:

The index hit a floor of support just below the 15,000 level
and by 1030 (0230 GMT) had stabilised at 14,967.85, down 7.28 or
1,174.89 points at 1030 (0230 GMT).
Turnover at that time was a heavy HK$3.77 billion, and
declines buried advances 551 issues to 16.
"We opened up about 1,300 points lower, but at the moment
there's some short term support at 15,000," said Geoff Galbraith,
deputy head of institutional sales at Dao Heng Securities.
"There seems to be some bargain hunting coming in and I think
it will hold here and maybe go a little higher.

Ya like P/E's?? Look at NOLD

biz.yahoo.com

finance.yahoo.com

Very low volume stock. Margins look a tad tight too, but improving.
biz.yahoo.com
2 more qrtrs like that and they'll probably trade up to that book. (35)

Book of 35. 130 bucks a share in sales (almost 1/2 billion)
2.02 in earnings.

P/B = .42
P/S = .11

Dare I say it?? They do E-commerce as well...just starting.
noland.com

Talk about your out of favor stocks....Trading at all-time historical lows, yet doing all time record revenues and earnings. I guess that happens when you have 3 years of flat earnings...

Earnings might be breaking out though.

Company is 85 years old. Modest management salaries. Looks like one to maybe put a bid in on. Might get hit. According to my level 2, the bid is the only way to go. (14-1/2 x 16)

Get a 2% dividend while waiting for the market to come to you. Be interesting to see what would happen if this one got hit with volume.

Can't help but think old Lloyd is gonna be getting pressed to take measures to improve shareholder value here.
