Hi Jack - well, I actually don't know customer's preferences when it comes to dumb or smart pipes b/c 1) I am not in that industry to understand it and 2) my guess is that the technologies are still evolving. However, at the very least, it is better to have it than not, at a reasonable carrying cost of course. Just to clarify my previous post though, intelligent pipe is more an example than a salient factor. By that I mean there are a lot of technologies, know hows, entrepreneur spirit and even human energies brought together by two incomplete companies. I guess the operationalist could accuse me of talking about the intangibles :) best, Bosco
