Do you really believe what you're saying?

I'm no techie but I doubt very much they'll go back to GPS for synchronization for political and perhaps practical reasons, ie the new pilot apparently works better indoors, more complicated though it may be.

And to the extent that WCDMA is optimized to interact with the GSM core, why back peddle on that one?

Nokia is the only big infra company that has no IS95 infra experience. Is it a coincidence that they're having trouble with chipsets? I doubt it. Will Q face similar WCDMA problems?

I wonder why QCOM doesn't just go with the flow. I'm afraid the the only explanation that makes any sense is that they really will be disadvantaged when it comes to WCDMA. Hopefully I'm wrong.
