SlateColt--You may well be right; maybe there was a side deal with Wave that wasn't reported. Certainly you're correct that AMD would like nothing better than to one-up Intel, and perhaps they're in the process of putting a deal together with an outfit like Dell or Gateway. The logic of that (in general) is what convinced me to buy this stock almost 2 years ago, and the company has done nothing but expand their potential business during that time. I just put a limit order in on E*Trade and saw that the ask was 14 3/4, which may or may not be a new number, I don't know...
