Adam - Re: ETYS, <I've received a tough, but well-deserved, lesson. Anyone else care to fess up?> As a customer of JFAX I was "fortunate" to be able to participate in the IPO. Only 100 shares @ $9.50 but it was my first and remains my only non-retirement holding. I knew it was a gamble but never bothered to liquidate the position while it had any significant value. Current price: $2-1/16. Not as bad as ETYS, but I haven't bothered to cut the loss -- maybe some other Inut company will buy it with iMoney? I should just close it out before it does go to zero: the comparison should be between $200 and $0 rather than $950 and $200. And it would be rotten if the sale was unable to cover the commission! PT

OT Hi Adam, Very sorry about e-toys. Thanks for sharing your story. The Red Herring (www.redherring.com) is one way to check out newly IPO'ed startups- they provide an indicator of what's in and what's out. I think they may have made a warning about dotcoms sometime in Q3-99 or Q4-99? RH always knows where the money is flowing - they talk to many of the VCs (who in turn talk to the institutions who are their buyers). Amy J
