Agreed. Sigh..the market changed since then and Mark changed his mind. We all do that due to market conditions and out perception of the market which varies from person to person.

James, You were once an only "old economy" person but we both know you owned some "new economy" stocks and ones without earning if not just for the momentum. Nothing wrong with that. It sure beats the heck out of being short AMZN during a short squeeze. I believe being shorty a firm like AMZN in the early 90s would have worked fine just based on the FA. We both learned this market was not operating on FA and you learned it faster. You also had the guts to ride AMZN down fianally. Something I would no longer risk due to pure fear<G>
