If the market picks up next week this one could really take off. This sector was beaten down pretty bad and Fatbrain worst than most. Fundamentals have not changed. This could be a great time to get in.

Update on institutional holdings in FATB.

insidertrader.com

More net buy-ins than out, although churn is evident. So 26% of share now held by institutions. That's good.

What are they getting?
Book is $3.27 and sales per share is $3.04 with 1.31 per share cash. Nobody likes dilution nowadays, so at $5 this isn't a bad deal for the likes of AMZN.

I continue to think the customer loyalty to a site where they have purchased before is worth quite a bit and can't be easily duplicated by others. Franchise, it's called by Warren Buffett.

This is Buy and Hold territory if they can cut the burn. Eventually they will get picked up by share hungry tigers.
