julie- welcome. unfortunately you entered the porch at the wrong time of the late night and clicked on the wrong poster (elpolvo) to make yer appearance. that means i'm going to be yer mentor (yer stuck wif me - don't try to fight it). you need to tell me yer stuff: 1) how old are you? 2) what are your current positions (investments - stock holdings)? 3) what can you afford to lose? 4) do you want to gamble or grow slowly? 5) does yer brokerage allow options trading? 6) do you have voltaire's phone number (i don't - if you have it... give it to me quick) 7) do you know how to send PMs (private messages)?? answer all the above by PM to me. i can advise you when i get your answers. for now, all i can tell you is... Hi Smokie! Welcome to our porch....how did you luck out and end up on the porch in the early stages of your investment life. You must have a couple of angels directing you around. BTW ya fixing to get addicted and ya gonna love the folks here on the porch.......ain't nothing else like it. Yea! That Steve guy.....I guess he lost a lot and is kinda sore at someone. Hopefully before long he can get over it and move on. We just has to turn the other cheek and move on taking care of the ones we really look out for, our regular porchers. Hey guess what! Regular porcher...that is what you are now Ya only a guest the first time. We are so very pleased to have you join us. I think you are going to be a pro at this porching.
