I read, December, 1999, not May, 2000. Big price difference between eToys in Dec and May.

Also, if you poke around the website, you'll see a list of their new investments, and one could conclude by looking at this list that Intel knew long ago the dotcom party was over. Their new investments appear to be in other areas. I would bet any divestiture out of dotcoms probably occurred awhile ago, rather than on Friday.
