To all: Call me paranoid, but I view this crash as symbolic of the MM and Institutional's ongoing war against the insurgent individual investor. I don't mean to rant, but consider the timing of it all: During the 2 weeks leading up to tax day, when capital- and short-term tax payments of unprecedented magnitude are due from our ranks. No better time to try and kill the concept of being your own master / fool in the equities markets. Kill it with maximal pain and financial loss, extracting US$2 Trillion of wealth during the 2 weeks of the year when individuals most need liquidity. No better way to force hundreds of thousands to walk away from the markets, humbled, confused and financially broken. Just a (paranoid) thought, FWIW. Back to my day job. BP
