Hey Carl. Yes, we have explored the similarities of the dot.coms with the biotechs. They are both concept sectors (although there are real companies within each sector) and concepts sell when the money flows. I am not sure we can attribute the Naz melt to the biotechs or the nets. I think they were both the natural result of a crowd gone mad with the help of the Fed. in supplying money out of fear of Y2K. Are you going to invest in any BTB companies? The thought crossed my mind today but I saw them continuing to crater while the Naz was strong today and I thought better of the idea.
