I sold NVLS, ALTR, and MXIM today. I will not sell AMAT, KLAC, CSCO, GE, and most of ASYT because they are in a taxable account. The rest (EGLS, LRCX, SVGI, UTEK, ADPT, LSCC, XLNX, LLTC, SPCT, CMTO) will go, hopefully.

Semi call premiums have never been better:

Here's a math game even those with limited cash
can play.

Suppose that an investor has only 5 to 7 thousand dollars
to invest but still expects a decent return.

Pick any one of the four stocks at todays closing price.

ASYT at 43
KLIC at 64
NVLS at 53
LRCX at 43

Chose a strike as close to ten percent above your purchase price as possible.

For the following companies that would be: A May call:

ASYT May 50's
KLIC May 70's
NVLS May 60's
LRCX May 50's

When the purchase is completed immediately write
the covered call:

Your net will be:

ASYT May 50's.... 6 x 6 1/2
KLIC May 70's.... 6 3/8 x 6 7/8
NVLS May 60's.... 5 1/8 x 5 5/8
LRCX May 50's 3 3/8 x 3 3/4

Take the bid price unless the sox index is in a strong rally.

If you get called out your gain will be
between 18 and 22%.
Note this works best during earnings time.

For larger portfolios use only 25% of the portfolio
each month. That way if the stocks rally strongly
past the the strike price the other 75& of the
portfolio will continue to gain.

If it works for you give me the credit.
And if it fails give me the curses.
This makes the volatility of these stocks some what acceptable.

Regards, Jerome
