cosmo: what is "delta" please. And WHATEVER it is, how can you be so sure it won't change VERY rapidly, in the particular situation we have here??? The pressure here to go up, is severe.

my biggest concern is the unwinding of complex interrelated hedge fund positions

like short stocks, long QQQ (Naz100)
like short stocks, long Nazfutures
like long DIA (Dow index), short QQQ
like long NYSEComp, short basket of 12 major techs

good news is that USDollar is firm
so foreigners are not dumping US stocks/bonds after their home turmoil

one thing we are not seeing with NAZ though
we arent seeing sudden swings, after the first 45 minutes

looking for info on mutual fund redemptions over weekend
I believe I read several $B inflows into funds last week
last week saw institutions as major sellers
they raised cash IN CASE of redemptions
the key is whether the US public indeed redeems and sells
anyone have good info on this?

good sign for immediate shorterm: sold first, then rallied
very big signal coming between here at 11am and 1pm

edit:::::
TrimTab just now on CNBC interview
outflow last week $6.3 billion
inflow last week $6.5 billion
therefore net small outflow
