Welcome back ALan - Although I do not participate frequently other than posting news, it was partly some of your posts that got me interested in WIND. One of my few holdings that I can get a long term capital gains from. I do periodically trade some shares to take advantage of swings.

Hope to see your continued prescence in the future.

Regards

Neil

Allen: Good Show! & Welcome Back! It appears to me that Wind is in a major growth phase, and over the next few quarters revenues and earnings should ramp nicely, if not geometrically. The acquisitions should make the company much stronger...a gorilla in this space. As a long term owner, I have watched with patience as other tech stocks soar. Hopefully soon Wind will have its place in the sun! wj

Allen,

not a word of substance from you yet and WIND jumped 5+ points just by your presence.

With Allen Benn, who needs Abbey Joseph Cohen.

Welcome back.

Allen!

Welcome, welcome, Welcome!

You were missed here on this thread. All investors who know who you are appreciate the strategic role you took consulting with WIND when questions of growth and direction occurred.

Could you comment on the Agilent press release about standardizing on VxWorks? I believe that this is quite significant, given Agilents good positioning as an internet infrastructure company, their track-record as HP's core, and the long-standing relationship with WIND.

Again, welcome back!
Ron Paul

Welcome back, Allen! I suspect that whatever assistance you provided WRS either has or will reflect itself in the bottom line. Many thanks, Joe Seubert

Hi Allen,

Thanks for returning to the thread! I missed your insight and experience. But, next time please let us know when you are taking a leave of absence. Your unannounced departure was too ominous.

You wrote that you did some research inside the company to "identify important aspects of the growth problem" and that, "By early November I knew the answer." What conclusion did you draw? Was it competition, the Asian crisis, a crisis in management, a change in the market, or what? Do you think the company's new tack of going after top-line growth first is correct? And was the stock market correct in devaluing the company last year or merely inefficient amid the Dot-com chaos?

Also, I would appreciate your comments about how recession proof WIND is. If the recent stock market decline signals a recession next year, it would seem that all tech companies are vulnerable because of high PE's, and loss of customers. What do you think might happen in the R scenario?

Thanks---Peter
