Bill,

I'm somewhat at a loss in how to put this, so bear with me...

Users can post a link to other SI messages in various formats. They can use the abbreviated #reply-xxxxx, or copy/paste the URL which can come in a variety of formats.

Currently, none of the links can be followed through the Palm interface, even though they show up as an active link.

Obviously, the best solution for users would be for the Palm page server to interpret all of the various internal URL formats and converted them to an executable shorthand link that the user can follow. I believe you have communicated that it may or may not be fixed in the future.

Absent that, can we have a "jump box" where the user can enter an absolute message number (as opposed to the ordinal number that the existing "jump box" now accepts) and retrieve a referenced message that way? It can be pretty hard to follow a discussion when one is not able to see the contents of a message that is being referred to.

Regards,

David
