Here's a hypothetical press release from Alan Greenspan that I think would do wonders for the market: "The Federal Reserve has nearly completed its program of gradually withdrawing the additional liquidity from the markets that was added in November and December last year to accommodate Y2K demands. We now believe that we have restored the proper degree of liquidity to permit the economic expansion to continue while still preventing economic excesses from building up." I don't expect to see it.
