Hi Santiago, hi everyone,
I have been investing and trading in PMTC since spring 1998. Started buying at 13 after Kevin McCarty of DLJ, all star amalyst in the WSJ, recommended it as top pick at 36. Felt it was a good value at 13. It went to 9 in 1998, then it recovered and I sold all of it around 20. Bought again at 16, 12, 13, sold it again, this time following through the excellent First Boston analyst Desai and with Merrill Lynch's Vleeschouver.
Have bought again at 10-11 just before the nasdaq deluge and I realize that given the major revenues drop and both ProE and Windchill shortcoming, this time the matter is more serious, but I am a strong believer in Windchill and I feel that if they can put sales back on track, the unique value of Windchill will shine in time.
First Boston issued a 19 target last week, stock was 10 3/4.
Very risky stock at this time, but great potential,
hope today goes well,
ciao
Alfredo
