freeus - I was only remarking on your comment that you had until Thursday - any shift in the momentum on QCOM and your put buyer might decide to unload. Another possibility is a QCOM investor who bought the puts to hedge, and now needs to unload the stock - say to cover a margin call.

Having just absorbed a big bunch of stock - INTC and CSCO both put to me when someone determined that they had squeezed all the goodness out of their put position, or maybe they just wanted or needed the cash - I wondered why you thought your put buyer would wait until Thursday... unless Q keeps dropping.
