thanks for the response Ah. Good advice. I have always been a bit quick to pull the trigger. Sometimes that is good, usually not. How low do you think ATHM can go here? Or maybe that is the wrong question, since we are entirely at the mercy of market psychology now. Reason does not play ball at these times and any predictions based on such are probably no better than blind guesses. At 18 ATHM seems like an absolute steal, but then I have been saying that since the high 20's. Even if we go to 15 or 12 or something equally ridiculous I have to believe that in a years time anyone buying here will be happy.

People will grow progressively bearish as they realize they can't expect a rebound back up into great expectations. This is what happened after '87 which from personal experience is the best parallel without the same intensity.

I agree, and a sideways market will not only wash out the greed, but will decimate the on-line investor community, who is trained in a Pavlovian way to expect instand gratification.

I bought back into ATHM today, but with Jan 02 LEAP calls. They are very cheap right now, and if this market and this stock should sort itself out by then.
