the biggest advantage to V is that I only have to reenter my password when I want to trade rather than go thru all those webpages. I can store trades and execute at will.
not bad.

I would really like direct access (to options at least) at Schwab. that would make the extra commssions even more worthwhile.

I am so spoiled w/ Preferred's direct access to separate option exchanges.

I have no confidence SCH will take cyberx's app and not bloat it. most brokers obviously feel they need to 'protect' their customers (and themselves) by password protecting everything and timeouts. well I don't like or need those 'features'. I trade from a secure environment. they need to make timeouts and passwd protection optional at the very least. JMHO.

i'm going to have to rethink trading options at Schwab.
as you warned about I've found more and more series which aren't in their system. it's really annoying.
and these aren't obscure underlying, it's on SPX... geez, at a minimum all strikes for the 3 front months should be in their system.

also I mustve misunderstood your use of the term 'boating'. the guy at the platinum options desk I talked to said they 'boat' trades to have a human review the trade (primarily shorts stocks and options). I would think a lot of this could be done w/ a computer :-)
