<<We've planted a total of 22 fruit trees, about a dozen berry bushes, and three grape vines. >>

Since the honey bees have died off we get very few grapes and the ones we get are no longer seedless.

The deer use our yard as a conference center and our garden as a buffet. So I've given up. They can have it, but I'm not supplying any garnishes. No more lilies, no more tulips, no more anything... Until last summer, they seemed not to like impatiens very much, but even THOSE they chomped on last year. You are so lucky you can have all those herbs and fruits. I can have daffodils and foxglove. They don't like those. They come right up to the house, you could hit them in the nose by opening the door when they're eating the shrubs.

And of course as a tip, after they dine, they leave you Lyme disease.

Deer suck.
