Hi Rude,

I've been doing nothing but day/position trading for a couple of months now. As you may have seen by my ranting and raving from time to time here <ggg>, I've been expecting a meltdown for some time, and never dreamed the NAS would get to 5k... I just exited a trade I entered this morning on CPQ for a small profit. I'm just going to take it day to day until I see things stabilize. As strange as it sounds, I'm somewhat gratified by market action in April. I was beginning to think I was CRAZY in expecting some rationality to return, and now it has in spades. The creaming of the .COMS and hot telecom stocks is healthy and perhaps means the market will now focus a bit more on traditional measures of valuation. I have to laugh at what some of the I-net analysts are saying now. Blodgett, the guy who I believe gained fame by putting a $400 target on Amazon is now saying that 'one has to look for quality techs'...

Regards,
John
