strong finish on the major averages. both DOW and NAZ + over 200. SOXX + 100. welcome site from friday. out of the woods? maybe not, but somebody was buying today.

This week's Mutual Fund column, titled Fund Shopping is at:http://www.stockcharts.com/commentary/scottmc/scottmc20000417.html For filtering/screening I use RSI(14)>50, ROC(9)>o, BullPower(13)>0 - note Bull Power is specific to my TA package (ProTA for the MAC), Parabolic (.005, .05, .5)<L and Stoch(35,3,5,Osc)>1 - this changes periodically If those generate too many, I further reduce with a price volume index (5) > its 12 day simple moving average, or a volume comparison for 10 days, or a candlestick screen for bullish patterns.
