Compared to what though?

I think that is the question. Just posting profits and numbers for their own sake has proven not to be good enough. Each time everyone gets all jazzed up and thinks that it will, it turns out to be kind of a jinx!

Revenues and cash flow, compared to what? If it is only compared to those that are obscenely overvalued trading at multiples many years out, it's kind of a moot point in times when there is a flight to value and low p/es.
Net profits, good and well, compared to what though.
What percentage is from interest?
What is the growth rate going forward?
Cash on hand, compared to what.

There are more questions than these of course.

I think for the market to really take notice, there can be little in the way of perceived dissapointments i.e. not blowing away the whisper numbers by enough or too much of the number derived from interest income.
