Good morning V (oops, it's still evening, you caught me early this time): I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone on this thread for your PM and your public posts. Your sympathy, empathy and advice was appreciated beyond mere simple words (but your goona get them anyway!). This porch is an amazing collection of humanity. Some detractors of these forums and market investor critics use the word greed to describe our motivation. It is my belief and further demonstrated on this thread that we are all part of an extended family where we have shared our joys and misfortunes. Compared with other threads that I have read and posted in, there is a gernal sense of community here. We stood at the precipice (so what if I can't spell) starring right into the abyss and was able to come out of it, perhaps poorer in financial wealth, but richer for the experience. While quite frankly, I'd rather have the wealth without the agita, I think that we all came away from this with a number of lessons learnt. We also learned to trust each other more with our finances and emotions. The time compression factor served to make us realize how transient health and wealth can be. While some of us are still down substantially (including myself), WE ARE NOT OUT! We will rebuild, as we have done so before, taking with us the knowledge of our experiences and our comradery. To coonaz (hope you find your az again), thanks for the offer (teary eyed, at this point). To Tom (OK, Voltaire), your swift return call puts Fed Ex to shame! To all the others that have posted to me, Marginmike, Thomas DeSousa, blandbutmarvelous, bonuss in Austin, Jill, and the others (please don't be insulted, if I left out your names), please accept my deepest thanks. Now Dealer, count me in. Where are we meeting, I'll need an 8x10 glossy of the gang to hang over the wall, taking comfort that you guys are "covering my 6" (Catch sting for an explanation, if needed). My best to all on the porch, David OK, OK so when do we start pouring the Jack Daniels?
