A penny over consensus should just about do it for me since the most important issues will be the growth of EMC Software, Connectrix, DG product development (scheduled rollout - 4/25), integration of DG distribution channels, and other forward-looking statements. If you noticed, EMC's road to the $12 billion revenue milestone by the end of 2001 neatly coincides with the post-Y2K deployment of the internet strategies (procurement, customer service, etc) of the Global 2000 plus the middle market. Some of you will recall how EMC was in a trading range for the first 2 quarters of 1997 before it broke out mid-year coinciding again with the last pre-Y2K corporate upgrade cycle which has allowed EMC to post a streak of 10 consecutive quarters of beating its numbers.
