Dear JDN: What a wonderful birthday present. Now, I just hope you already have your tax forms off your back so you can take her out for a nice dinner. Given the performance of SUNW, CSCO, EMC--and CPQ!--I don't think you will be able to get away with a "romantic" dinner for two of double whoppers and shakes at Burger King. BTW (and on topic) I was listening to WCBS and heard the market report. Someone from one of the brokerage houses [didn't hear] does not think last week's declines are totally out of the way. He foresees market increases for the next two weeks followed by a test of Friday's close. If the upcoming test (that he sees) does _not_ break lower, he sees the market improving. Late this morning, also on WCBS someone else was on for a business segment I caught. This fellow was "cautiously optimistic" and said that although he was one of those people who did think stocks were overvalued, he no longer sees an overvalued condition. In fact, he said we now have a market with a lot of excellent values. Regards, Lynn
