Who sold. Very revealing. From the Yoda club on Yahoo:

Just saw a statistics on CNBC it seems during last week's selloff we had something like that:

tech stocks transactions buy-sell %
hedge funds : buy 19% _ sell 10%
institutional invs.: buy 29% _ sell 81%
individuals buy: 52% _ sell 9%

"old economy" trans. buy-sell:
hedge funds: buy 18%_sell 18%
instit. inv.: buy 66_sell 56%
individual inv.: buy 16_sell 26%

No need to guess who sold the most-institutional investors. Since they did not seem to have bought old economy one must assume they probably are in cash, bonds and other instruments. If and when they will be back who knows; i just hope they are done selling perhaps even done short selling for now.
