OT: Speaking of monitors, I recently got a new computer for my ViewSonic VP181 monitor. It is a flat panel so it is a bit pricy (4K Cndn but not 15K). I highly recommend it (or one of the other flat panels which have pretty much the same features):
- silent, cool, and very easy on the eyes flicker wise
- USB connection back to the CPU box and USB to the keyboard/mouse is an excellent way to reduce the wire jungle
- you can adjust the resolution (say 1024*768 or even 800*600) for sitting back in the afternoon or go highest res (1600*1200) for getting lots of depth and chart screens up for morning work all with a few software clicks (probably more of a function of windows2000 though)
- you can hook up a second cpu and switch between A or B input (and it auto senses the first input)

and you gain back at least a foot of desk/office space.

I've had this monitor for a month now and am really enjoying it. I'll never have another tube job again.

Sorry, I can't say its helped my trading though. LOL.
