Trading long also means that the brokerage house doesn't have to find stock to lend you. Fidelity's computer systems takes 3 minutes sometimes to do that. You can't short very effectively if it takes that long to find stock. That's why I like shorting the QQQ's. No borrowing lookups!! T2, I think this was just an oversold bounce. We will retest these bottoms somewhere along the way, and most likely this week. Let's revel in our positive cash flows today, but I haven't changed my thinking at all. Interest rates are still rising, and that's really in my mind at this time. For myself, I'm still going to be cautious by not charging out of the gate to recommit gobs of cash back into this market as if it were "the old days". The moe's out of mo-mo for a while....for me. I'll trade it, but am not investing in it. Steve
