sure...it's pretty obvious what happened. actually a rally is more or less a necessity at this point if they want to avoid massive fund redemptions. they're trying to save the trough they're all feeding from... remember though, that such interventions are completely useless once the major trend has changed...they merely postpone the inevitable. it's happened before... the question is only IF the trend has indeed changed...not sure about that.
