Jay Taylor Update,miningstocks.com XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX GOLDEN PHOENNIX (OTC BB - GPXM - $0.24) - The company announced that it has completed its latest resource study over the East Ridge target, the fifth of seven target evaluations of its Borealis, Nevada gold-silver project. The cumulative results of these five resource studies have identified a minimum of 26.8 million tons averaging 0.048-oz. gold/ton containing 1,294,200 oz. of gold and 6.1 million ounces of silver. The company plans to evaluate the Northeast Ridge target next followed by the Cerro Duro target, which consists of three mineralized areas. Management is engaging in painstakingly detailed modeling of previous data left behind by prior operators. But as Dr. John Whitney noted in a conversation I had with him, these are about the lowest cost ounces of gold you will find. The detailed evaluation of data not previously factored into calculations, means that a resource considerably larger than the prior 1.2 million ounces previously calculated, even before the company commences additional exploration work on numerous exploration targets. So far, five mineralized targets have been evaluated, but from those five targets this detailed work has revealed 7% more than the total resource calculated from ALL SEVEN known mineralized zones on the property. What this means is that even before the project's additional zones are explored, a resource of upward to 2 million ounces of gold may be outlined on the Borealis. Last week we noted that there was some short selling taking place by market makers. I suggested that you should take advantage of the unusually low price to acquire a position or add to your existing position, assuming you have not yet met our recommended 2.5% maximum allocation. Apparently some people took that advice last week as the stock gained 20%. I would also like to suggest that in order to keep the market makers from shorting this stock, you request to take possession of any shares you expect to hold for the long term. In that way you will undercut the sometimes vicious slander and sell actions of market makers. Of course, if you think you are holding shares you may wish to sell any time soon, then you should keep them in street name. But if you figure on holding GPXM for one or several years as I expect to do, it might make sense to take possession of your shares, especially if you have a substantial number. In that way you could help eliminate unfair market practices of short sellers.
