I didn't buy or short anything today. I wish I had bought CSCO and ORCL at the open today, but I didn't.

My personal opinion is that the market is still at a great deal of risk. When I do buy I hope I will be smart enough to play the large cap issues with competitive technological advantages like the aforementioned stocks. Companies like CSCO can manage to sustain fundamental performance because they do not have a need for additional capital, they simply generate their own.

I also posted that in my opinion technical analysis is a useful tool. I do not believe that it is an all seeing guide to future trading. Technical analysis is based on past performance and future expectations. Unless you have a time machine your opinion is no more or less valid than my own.

BTW, I often post information contrary to my own view because I don't take myself seriously enough to believe that my own opinion matters.
