Today there was a major article in the New York Times about internet caching. Both Inktomi and Akamai were mentioned as head to head competitors. Novell got one sentence. It's obvious to me that nobody in management even talked to the person writing this major article. Paul I also read the article..I was speechless. The article was really about INKT and AKAM. Novell was mentioned as an office networker. It is clear that NOVL marketing stinks!

Of course they have to have this focused, singleminded attention to detail while they execute, but that's where building a team comes in. Novell seems to have an ingrained, purposefull, willful tendency to want to shoot itself in the foot when it comes to actually embracing ENERGY - which I equate to the faith/trust/belief necessary in order for INDIVIDUALS to take necessary RISKS - needed to EXECUTE. I liken this to the image of one incredibly talented individual holding their hand right in the middle of their own lasar-like light energy radiating from their being. They are so talented, but for some reason they've been conditioned - refracted/cauterized - to NOT share their light and energy with others. If I have grown up in an environment where we are to allow things outside of ourselves to take our energy and light as a condition for being accepted into the world, then this personal, often willfull tendency to shoot oneself in the foot becomes more understandable. This is perhaops a culural thing that needs to be overcome that crosses a variety of boundaries. Great disciplined and ingeniously creative technology, but there's this resistence to really "let go" and allow others to share in the great benefits which it could bring to the world. That's why one of the key areas I am focusing on to effect this INDIVIDUAL revolution is MINDSET. It going to take a massive mindset shift for people to "see" and understand the massively leveraged value of this New Service model. Thanks to the Internet and these open protocals, every individual in the world has to give up on ALL attempts to proprietize, control, power and restrict the personal and collective light and energies of themselves and others. For this Age of SERVICE has finally arrived. The REAL Internet will be all about ONE purose: helping and serving others. For only in this process of serving others do we as INDIVIDUALS get the opportunity to create, support and virally leverage our own personal currency - personal trust, light and energy - which we all use to minister, help and serve others. You will hear me talk about the difference between human trust and anonymous trust more and more. For it's the difference between REAL trust which drives the REAL currency in the world - human TRUST that's supported by REAL values and truths - and CONDITIONAL trust which drives the anonymouse currency of the world - anonymous trust that NOT supported by REAL values and truths. I really think this New Age of the Individual will be all about massively empowered and radiating examples of these vast and growing array of personal currencies - ie. the monitization of REAL human trust valued in different points/credits/stamps - which will supercede the "valueless" anonymous currencies of the world. This is really BIG stuff, but we are working with some technology which can effect this NOW for a few beta communities representing thousands of users. Most of the world's hammerlock on fear comes from the ability of companies to control ONE thing: MONEY. And I'm here to say this control will be LOST forever. For INDIVIDUALS are and will take control of new virtualized/personalized trust currency equivalents. For there are five basic things that have to happen whenever something is exchanged between parties: 1) There has to be an originator of the commitment: a request for service(s). 2) There has to be a receiver of that request. 3) An agency function/system has to put the two together: from an INDIVIDUAL acting within the context of a system to simply manually acting alone making a referral. 4) There has to be a "medium of exchange" - money, credits, points, personal virtual trust currencies, etc. 5) Finally there has to be an audit/log trail which stores the transaction and extends the data where it needs to go, etc. These FIVE simple points are being irrelevantly and redundantly repeated by companies and NOT.COMs the world over. The ONE thing common with the OLD Business model which is built on power and control requirements is: POINT THREE (3) - the agency function - is NEVER allowed to be claimed by THE INDIVIDUAL. Companies have been able to use MONEY to pay INDIVIDUALS to create/develop/support human trust which is then monitized. The INDIVIDUAL is never allowed to claim the sacred value of the REAL Human trust which is created. For companies want to "own" the client/customer. I am here to say that the human TRUST - supported by truth, light and personal energy - developed and shared between people is THE most sacred and special thing in this universe. For TRUST is like the oil which makes life worth risking - ie. living. Without oil - trust - we cannot RISK and ACT in ways which truly help and serve others. There are a few people who willfully and purposely DISTRUST others. They don't need oil for their engine runs on different energy - negative energy. These people are not out to help and serve others. They are out to help and serve themselves: "What mine is mine and what's your is mine, etc." The REAL Internet will massively expose these folks. There will and should be great fear. These are the deer and elephants in headlights we've all been speaking of. "You mean I can't hire people to manufacture REAL trust which I then can monitize??" The answer is NO. For there will be fewer and fewer people who will be attracted to MONEY for MONEY's sake. The death of NOT.COMs is bringing a radically new and swift awareness worldwide in this area. Sorry to have rambled. This is NOT pie in the sky. Technology is going to SERVE us in this New Era. Communities will SERVE us. Individuals will SERVE us. Why? Because there's so much massive, powerful leverage in this New Model. In this Age of Service, the INDIVIDUAL will be freed up to concentrate on the ONE thing than can make a diffence in the world: helping and serving others. The Old Business model has simply made slaves of individuals - all based on ONE thing -controlling MONEY. The smoke and fire is gone. We've found the burnt broom and Toto has pulled the curtain on the Wizard. He's just this fearful, scared, terrified nice guy. We have to forgive him, show him the way to the balloon so we can all "go home." For it's REAL human TRUST light, trust and energy which is powering the net right now. NOT Sun, Oracle, Microsoft, Novell. A new, virtual Currency of Light is driving it and contrary to recent popular investment belief, the NOT.COMs won't be able manufacture/monitize it. For it's the Internet, stupid - KISS - It's PEOPLE. Life, energy, light, everything begins and ends with people. The power has shifted. SERVICE is the new path. Everything else is irrelevent. The Era of the Individual has begun. Peace. GO!!
