I think the shorts finished covering Friday. I had to sell a few shares in one of my accounts to cover a small margin call. My real time streaming quote service was apparently overloaded so I had to use MarketSmart real time. Every time I checked it showed Bid 1 Ask 20 yet shares were moving at a steady pace. I entered my sale of 500 as a limit at 15 3/4 which was the bid. Even though the quote only showed 100 on the bid, my shares were scooped up immediately. I'd guess the MM was taking everything that was offered for one of the hedge funds. Yesterday was a different story at least at the open. The good news was that the trend was steadily up after the open. I sold two blocks of 2000 at a limit price above the current ask. A third block didn't fill but it came close. I won't try to sell anymore today because only a small move up in a few holdings will bail me out of serious margin trouble in my largest account. My three largest holdings are MRVC, THQI and LVCI. Talk about serious pain!

By the way, since so many regulars here are over on Raging Bull, I registered but haven't posted yet. I decided to hide behind the nom de net of HoopsDad over there.

Hang tough everyone,
Bob
