The conference call went VERY well as Russ discussed the future of GNET focusing on deals as well as the fact that GNET will be a cable portal as well as a computer portal. In addition the long term growth will be 15-20% quarter to quarter.I left my notes in my office and will add more in the morning. Margins improved this quarter and they have in excess of 400 employees! If you listened to the #'s that were thrown out to analysts on the call you would believe that GNET HAD to be a top 5 internet company(based on mkt. cap).Russ highlighted that there are many internet companies that cannot go public and that GNET will be aggressive in the acquisition arena.ALL the growth the past quarter was organic which makes the #'s even that more impressive.More in the morning.Gnet is currently $59 bid +4 pts. from the close, I expect higher targets from ALL analysts based on todays #'s. Best to all, other than Playaverputz.

WHERE IS THE LOVE...Only a few posts after another BLOW OUT quarter...This company is starting to exercise it's muscle...we will see the power of it's business model..Remember all the complaints about this company's focus on earnings vs other .coms who have ignored the need for earnings..A very savvy investor said to me today "listening to that conference call I would not believe they were talking about a company with one of the smallest market caps in the industry." This is about the best medicine we could ask for after the last two weeks relentless pain.

Hey NonN did you see this they turned Rocker into a Kissdonkey....here is his quote

``Unfortunately many members of the media have
overestimated my significance. I'm merely a baseball
player, guys,'' he said.

``I am happy to be back in New York, believe it or not,''
Rocker said, adding that ``the comments I made over
six months ago offended many people. I am fully aware
of this, and for that I sincerely apologize.''

He added: ``My comments weren't made with
intentions of malice. However, many people perceived
these comments to be malicious.''

Vowing to put ``this situation'' behind him, Rocker said
that ``the people of New York as well as the media
have misjudged me. I am not the evil person that has
been portrayed.''

And he even hinted at a veiled affection for the same
New Yorkers he once reviled, saying: ``The
overwhelming majority of the people in this city are
extremely charismatic and full of personality, although
a bit spirited at times, but that doesn't make them bad
people. I have always been completely aware of this.''
