What is this supposed to mean? I've never heard of a public accountant giving its blessing to a stamp appraiser.

I can only suppose that Dorian wants to continue claiming the LFT receivables are good so that he can continue claiming to be profitable. The problem is the auditor must give its blessing to the receivable being a good current asset that can be turned into cash. Thus, HITT must convince the auditor that the appraisal really does mean that HITT can collect at least $4 M.

Right now, that's the convicted criminal fraud artist's best hope.

I can't imagine the auditor going for this scheme.

But then again, I can't imagine any public accountant wanting to put its good name on financial statements for a convicted criminal fraud artist.
