The edited version of the last post. (My "fifteen minutes of change" expired while typing.)
What really bothers me is that NCD is not making it clear that they've got a plan. That they know what the problem is or how to fix it. Okay, the problem is poor revenue numbers. How do you fix this? By cutting expenses? No. A worldwide agreement with HP is nice...but why should I think that HP is going out to the street to sell NCD products. I don't. HP is out to sell their own products (servers and PCs) and services. If the customer wants TCs, well they get them from NCD, of course. But who's going to be there to push NCD ThinPATH? Does HP really care if they sell ThinPATH vs MetaFrame?

Okay, I'm getting sidetracked. One general question I have is: Will NCD look to sell themselves, or will they try to make it on there own? If NCD sells themselves for $4, they better not come back and say "See. I TOLD you we'd increase shareholder value." And if they go it alone, can they find a symbiotic partner? Someone who needs NCD as much as NCD needs them?

I go back and read some of their statements, I begin to think that they DO know what they're doing.

"At that time, we will also report on the progress we are making to transform NCD into a leadership company serving growing markets for software to manage multi-user enterprise applications, easy access terminals for corporate intranets and advanced solutions serving application service providers."

What was the progress? They announced that if Hitachi sells any TCs, they'll be made by NCD. They spent they're last dollar on Multiplicty, and they thought up a new name...Thinfrastructure.

"We believe NCD moved quickly and aggressively to address the needs of the various segments of our markets?in terms of both software and hardware..."

Hopefully, that will result in revenues. BTW: Just what does NCD sell directly? I know that they won't sell the ThinSTARs directly.

And
"...it is clear that we just have to do a much, much better job."

has got to be the most pathetic excuse I've ever heard. Are we going to hear "much, much, MUCH better" next time?

If only I could get an answer to some of my questions.
