I agree, GBLX is a screaming deal at this price for longer
term investors. It is such a great deal that I'm expecting
a suitor to make a proposal very soon. Management will be
hard pressed to keep shareholders from revolting and selling
out on any quick profit potential on a serious offer. Could
be that suitors are waiting for more of the total package
to be completed, but that would just make it a more
expensive commodity within 3-6 months. This company is
being assessed on its future profit potential and its
available resources, wouldn't surprise me if management
doesn't realize this and will sell off assets and keep long
term discount contractual usage commitments once the
various pieces are completed. I suspect that they will
keep Global Centers though as the "rents" from continued
services will generate income revenues for years to come.
Seems that this is the way Winnik operates, if you read the
prospectus concerning his "lease back" of assets to GBLX.
Great income and tax benefits this way too!
