Duane,

I would have done the same thing.

What do you think of CDTS or SCON for trades? They look something like RMBS. I think ANCR might be a good trade here as well.

For more of a position trade I still like GT NCR G...TLM.

E!

Hey Duane:

Probably not a bad move to sell those trades if you already have good gains; market very uncertain still and a Naz test of 2900 still possible. The semi's are so bias to the upside, though, that I think they can be traded with relative safety the next two weeks. I'm holding what I have awaiting earnings reaction by INTC and others this week. CY came in at .41, a very good quarter as they'd already pre-announced. Not sure that it will move the stock to a new high, though, which it would have done a month ago. Still, notice how CY and IDTI, continue to stay within 10% of their highs even though the Naz just keeps getting lower. My XLNX options I bought at noon yesterday doubled by the close, but I didn't sell (broke my own rule); might regret it, but hey, 65 was my old BUY target...

I'm less sure how to play LSI: maybe a buy at 55 again to sell at 60. If we get a close over 60, we should see 70.

Your LTXX did very well %-wise yesterday--wish I had bought that one too. Almost bought CMGI yesterday, but too afraid of that sector at the moment. It might lead the way up there, however.

E: to answer your new highs question: I can see some semi's returning to new highs this quarter (provided the 200day holds on Naz) like cy and others that enjoyed a nice ascending sine-wave pattern, where parabolic rises like PMCS and LSI may need till January or longer to hit those highs again. Your thought?
