Intel stock took a pretty sharp dive in the last couple of weeks. Niles and Kumar have not upgraded Intel before earnings even with a depressed stock price. I wonder if the packaging rumor was out on the street before it got on to this thread. Chuck, It was the shortage of cumine chips (not specific to a packaging problem) coupled with the corporate pc shortfall early in the year that were generating the rumor on the street. But like J. Fowler was saying, there usually are rumors about Intel before their quarter. ted
