My guess is we go back down tomorrow or Wed... ...Ameritrade Index down to 35% indicating selling by general public Mon. This is down from 78% (net buying) on Fri. Last time this index went into sell territory was peak in last bounce (4/7)... ...Too much damage has been done to confidence IMO for a major bounce to occur... ...However, most of my short term guesses on the market turn out to be WRONG!!! Andy,I agree,a lot of similarities.Maybe we should watch 1994 charts to have a better understanding. IBD and VIX are also pointing at the bottom,but still I would be careful. I want NDX to hold firm above 3550 for some time, before I will jump to any conclusion.even if tomorrow will be a down day but 3525-3550 will hold,I would not worry to much. As concern our economy,If A.G will raise the interest, we can expect some temporary problems because the oil is hurting us already to much. On another hand,he has to protect the dollar. When dollar will be strong and US economy will slow for the time being,I do not think that Japan will be bumming. Simple,we will need less export. Trully,I think that last year we wanted to much to help the others and we cultivated a big bubble in our stock market. Everything started with the meltdown in Asia and..... US rushing to save the World. A little bit to much in my view and now we have to pay for it. el paradisio
