Justa, remember, Bob says this is a bear market, right? Futures must have recovered some because the numbers I'm looking at aren't as bad as you described. I note that Japan which was the first country to rally Monday morning was actually down. My forecast at this point is actually for a flat day, but who knows, the rally may continue. I make a terrible day trader, so don't listen to me. <VBG>

One more comment on the B2B companies is that I find myself wondering to what extent popping the bubble will affect the underlying product demand. If any dot.com startup is worth millions and many are worth billions, it follows to reason that anyone with sense would start their own dot.com and IPO it. Obviously one reason justabid had trouble gaining and holding market share is that you didn't commit enough cash and buy all the latest CRM and BI products. <VBG>

Seriously, to the extent there are less internet startups, there will be less demand for the BI and CRM products. Will the popping of the bubble be enough to affect the underlying product growth? If and when that happens these companies could be in for another sell off.

Carl

Not much time. Trade of the day -- DPMI at $48. It has bottomed and is ready to rally with the group IMO.
