<ot>Hi Jack & all - as I ve alluded to in one of my previous posts, LU has been putting its own people on top of ASND's. Worse, anecdotal evidence [my friend's friend] has suggested that even these LU people couldn't - or wouldn't - make decision. However, I think the stock options situation is overblown. I mean, granted that a lot of people seek maximum pay, b/c they thought they should get it, a lot of people are set for life! Some may be spoil and left b/c they don't get their way. However, being an idealistic person :), I would like to think the majority of them simply don't get to do creative work. Another friend of mine [EE PhD] has gone thru 3 startups [mostly busted.] He actually has been unlucky not able to hit big time [he was dreaming of LMDS 5 years ahead of his peers :(! But I ve digressed] I suspect that he is in for the excitement, even though he denies it :). Otherwise, he could ve retired by now had he stayed at FON where he was a senior engineer 15 - 20 years ago. best, Bosco
