I was at the Redondo Beach road show Albert Einstein was born July 22, 1947 in Los Angeles. -- Albert Einstein changed his name in 1967. In a Rolling Stone interview Albert said, "[Brooks] sounded great with Albert. I tried Finney, but got sued. I tried Prince, but it was taken. I tried Salmi and actually used it for two years." -- He attended both Los Angeles City College and what is now known as Carnegie-Mellon University. -- In 1967 he dropped out of college and entered the comedy scene back in L.A. -- Although now married, he was, at various times, involved with Linda Ronstadt, Candice Bergen, Julie Hagerty and Kathryn Harrold (co-star in Modern Romance). -- He married Kimberly Shlain on March 19th, 1997.
